What is coaching? Let us first answer this question that we hear all the time and that we need to take the time to answer before delving into health and wellness coaching: Coaching is a process of accompanying a person or group through which higher levels of transformation are achieved. . . . Personally and professionally. These principles of what coaching is apply universally as all coaching is essentially life coaching

When we are clear about what coaching is, it is easier to understand what health and wellness coaching is. When someone has health problems it would be very valuable to have someone to help them make the changes necessary to help them in the therapeutic process, whatever it is. Specialists and specialists often have very little time to look after their patients. Many questions remain unanswered and people leave the practice with instructions that are not really enough to give them the courage and willingness to change their behavior or treat them .
A health and wellness coach is what you do using exercise as a strategy to clarify health goals and find resources to succeed in them. Reality shows us that coaching is a set of strategies that allow people to focus on healing and return to functionality .
What is health and wellness coaching? It is an accompanying process in order to practice preventive medicine and also to accompany those who are already sick. In the encounters, the coach and his client explore the motivations and reasons for actively participating in building a healthy lifestyle. If the client suffers from an illness, the coach supports him in identifying his internal and external resources in order to face this reality .
Let's look at part of the transcript of this class:
“It's great to tell you about our future in health coaching. Look, a health coach will be a person who takes this person's wish and helps him to turn it into clear goals based on values, to take a few steps, this cannot be left alone in the head and accompany them, motivate them , inspire trainers. and giving the person a lot of confidence in the process of taking responsibility is absolutely essential .
Some tell me where your education comes from? Let's see I want to tell you about this part because it's important. I personally developed my own health coaching model and we put it into practice and then we did a very good job. There are a group of adorable health professionals at NCI.
Our own model has a strong bias - we're updating what anyone can do near Harvard Medical School at the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine, that's no big deal. We just sent it to NCI and it's obviously one of our favorite sources. We maintain this important connection and there are many other and very beautiful models; We really enjoy the Harvard model and also the IAC model. In fact, I'm going to share a couple of things with you tonight.
Here is this circle of you, your person with an attentive
conscience. We want the person to recover from this, to be more aware of what
is happening to them. Like Dr. Herbert Benson, from whom I learned a lot, would
say, if the man has a memory of his health that needs help to restore it, there
are procedures for doing it.
